Why your voice matters

On June 14, 2026, 1-year-old Kohen Wiley was shot and killed by police while in a vehicle outside a Walmart in Senatobia, Mississippi. Officers had responded to a reported shoplifting call.

In September, Senatobia's interim police chief confirmed that the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation turned its findings over to AG Fitch's office, which will decide whether to pursue charges. Mississippi Public Safety Commissioner Sean Tindell has said the evidence includes body camera, dash camera, and Walmart surveillance footage. NONE of it has been released to the public. AG Fitch needs to hear from you.
