100,000 Strong for George Floyd’s Family

The Floyd family is going through a very tough time and needs our help!

Derek Chauvin's murder trial started March 8th and will likely run for several weeks (or even months). Each day of the trial is another day George’s family will have to relive his horrible death.

They will endure images of Derek Chauvin’s knee on George's neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds. They will see Chauvin’s menacing smirk on his face. They will question why Chauvin would do something so horrible to their beloved George in his last moments alive.

Even worse, some will use this trial to question George's character.

Remember: George Floyd is NOT on trial; Derek Chauvin is!

Adding to the family’s stress, only one family member will be allowed to attend the criminal trial at any time. So, each morning, a different family member will enter that cold courtroom alone, with no siblings to turn to for support in such overwhelming, emotional times.

George Floyd’s family needs our support more than ever before. I’ve proudly represented the Floyd family as part of a great team of lawyers in the civil lawsuit against Minneapolis PD and the City of Minneapolis, while Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison takes the lead on prosecuting the criminal case against Derek Chauvin.
